Put simply, Upstak is a Value-Added-reseller for Data Center Infrastructure Products. However, the build-out of data centers is anything but simple. Each client has unique requirements driven by a long list of varying and changing build-out metrics. We solve these problems, evolve with you, and get the materials you need on-site, on time.
Origins
Upstak is the culmination of 35 years of experience in the infrastructure business. It evolved out of another infrastructure business, Jtech Systems Inc., founded in 2009. As the requirements of data centers became more specialized, Upstak was created to better focus on the unique service needs that came along with the industry.
Data Center Infrastructure is driven by completion dates
The “show must go on”, and the turn-over date must be met. It is the most noticeable component of our business, and we relentlessly drive towards meeting expectations.

How much experience does UPSTAK have?
We have contributed cumulatively to more than 300MW of data center builds. That’s enough data center cabinets to make a continuous line over 15 miles long.
Does UPSTAK manufacture products?
UPSTAK does not manufacture products. We use our 35 years of experience to align our customer requirements with manufacturers that can fulfill them.
What kinds of products does UPSTAK source?
We provide everything in the data center except servers and switches.
What does “Specialized Sourcing, Service, and Logistics mean?
It means that we do more than provide products. We align manufacturers with the specific requirements of the data center space. We function as ‘outsourced’ members of your build team and work tirelessly to get materials on-site and on time.
What kind of special services do you offer?
It depends on the client and the challenge. Services range from providing off-site storage, including bar code labeling and asset management to shipping POP cabinets to Belarus. We love solving data center problems and providing value.
Does UPSTAK have international experience?
We have supplied materials all over the world. EU, APAC, LATAM, and we even snuck in a small deployment in Beijing.
Can UPSTAK assist with custom solutions?
Most of what we provide is customized for the unique needs of each data center. Our logistics plans are 100% designed to fulfill customer-specific requirements. Many of our clients prefer custom cabinets to maximize useability and flexibility.
Does UPSTAK have experience with AI?
We have deployed multiple GPU-based data centers and understand the complexities.
